Overview

Hostupa respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and may remove or disable access to infringing content.

Filing a DMCA notice

To file a DMCA takedown notice, send an email to [email protected] with: identification of the copyrighted work; the URL of the allegedly infringing content on Hostupa; your contact information; a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate; and your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification with: identification of the removed content; a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake; your contact information; and your consent to jurisdiction. We will forward counter-notifications to the original complainant.

Repeat infringers

We may terminate accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We track DMCA notices per account and may take action after multiple valid notices.
